Re: Stunner

In and out. Ruled out feeding response since he keeps musking and constantly biting me even while I hold him outside of the enclosure. Wonder whats behind it. His disposition was very good when I brought him home. I then fed him, and held him once after feeding and then he just started acting very afraid.

Re: Stunner

Still I doubt feeding had anything to do with it.

Re: Stunner

Yeah sounds like he just doesn't want to be messed with. How long have you had him?

Re: Stunner

Don't handle him yet let him settle in for a weeks. He'll be stressed from the move and that isn't coming to help with him attitude. After he's settled in for a while he should have that same clam nature as before. But if he bites don't just put him back or he might associate biting with being out back where he's comfortable.

Re: Stunner

Yup. Thats my plan. Should have done that from the beginning but Large's retics are usually docile fresh out the box lol

Re: Stunner

My newest came in with thermal burns and I've had to treat him since day one. He's handled it all very well, he's a good snake. Just give him some time and he should come around.

Re: Stunner

Sorry guys, its been a rough few months and have been trying to stay as busy as possible. Yes that's a platty tiger, no question about it.
