Because I'm looking to add few snakes to my collection. I've got around $3k in animal plastics and rbi heat panels on order and this is the only legged critter left in my home. She is a cute little bugger though.

Thanks! I appreciate your input, and that you don't think I'm crazy lol.

I might keep her. Like I said I'm not in a hurry. But I'll keep her available and if the right home comes along, she'll be moved to a new family that I know will appreciate her and make sure she's well taken care of.

No idea what geckos go for but my initial feeling is that seems like a reasonable price for any pet. Then again I was watching a Vet tv show last night where the vets daughter sold her pet goat to someone else for $15. I was shocked that the girls mother allowed it to be sold for a mere $15. I'd have paid $100 for a goat and I have no interest in ever keeping one! Maybe I'm a sucker though. IDK.

That sounds like a reasonable price to me too.
I really dislike selling animals locally for that very reason, most people seem to only want to pay Craigslist prices, free or dirt cheap. I'm all for getting or giving a "steal" every now and then but that kind of mindset bugs me too, you can't pay $15 extra for all the right equipment/knowing when the animal hatched/ate last/ what it's eating, etc. that you'd get from a more knowledgeable person and I'm supposed to believe that you value it enough to spend the money on it needed to keep it healthy? Yeah, right.

I agree. I've given many animals away. I've had people come to buy one animal I had for sale, and wound up giving them another because I knew that person would take care of it. Money wasn't a concern for me. Obviously I'm not giving away expensive species, but if it comes down to $50 in my pocket, or knowing one of my animals will be well taken care of, then a that's no choice at all. Money loses.
