First One Out of the Egg

My daughter (who seems to be getting all the cool stuff lately) got a trio of leos last summer to breed. Her first baby hatched out today. She's very happy about it.

Here's the little guy.

Re: First One Out of the Egg

Super cool! I just got my first leo. Hoping to add a male soon and try breeding next year. Congrats on the hatchling!

Re: First One Out of the Egg

Thanks, guys. I don't know that we will name it. We have about 12 more eggs cooking and may have 20 or more babies before this season is over. We'll be selling most of them, and holding a few back. The parents are tangerine leos, so this little guy probably won't have stripes for long.
