All my spiders get both names and ID numbers, and I use a Google spreadsheet to track feedings, molts, etc. across multiple devices. I refer to them all by name, but the ID numbers are helpful for organizing my spreadsheet and to keep track of breeding(which I don't currently do but may pick up again in the future)


I would probably do the same for the snakes if I had a lot of them. For just 5 snakes, though, names are plenty.
