I agree on 1349, I like their older stuff a lot more, I've seen them live several times too, and they are a bit boring, but I still go lol, I've seen Satyricon twice live too; gotta see the Norwegian bands when you can. Taake is coming here next month, I can't wait to see them, it will be my first time.

Yeah I just wish they would bring frost
I'm hitting a Cradel of Filth show this month, next month is Nile. I'm waiting for Obscura to tour with their new album. Last month I went to see Beyond Creation and Hate Eternal, that was a good show. Super small venue though

That he is. Don't have an exact weight on him at the moment but he's as big as his 11 month old cousin; 85th percentile. He's got 2 teeth already and days away from sitting up completley without falling. I feel cheated. He's growing too fast.

Thanks man. Being a dad is really the best thing in the world. He's already fascinated with reptiles and amphibians, aswell as being in the field. It's awesome.
I need to get some pics to post up soon but here's a pic(albeit crappy) of my selayar female.

They do grow to quick mate, you enjoy him all you can. I blinked and my two boys seem to grow into young men before I knew what was going on

That's good. Get them started early. If nothing else it gives them an appreciation for the outdoors.
And as soon as your selayar and Bali's have babies I've got first dibs lol. But no seriously, I do.

Re: This place is freaking dead
Considering it's illegal to own a retic where I am, unless you had one before the laws changed and have a permit... You wont see any retics from me
As much as I'd love one

Re: This place is freaking dead
Get involved and keep fighting. Especially as far north as you are. There really is no good reason that you can't own one in Canada.

I saw 1349 with Frost one time, it was great, Frost's kit was set up right at the front of the stage. I'm going to see Nile in a couple of weeks. I saw the Mayhem and Watain tour last year when it was here, that was a killer show!

The rules won't change without continual battle and even then we must battle the keep them legal. The biggest threat to our pursuit of happiness is unfortunately the governments they force us to support with taxes.
