Thanks guys you both have some great advice. I actually went to a show earlier today with the sole intention of talking to some breeders. Even though I was able to talk to several my goal was thrown off course. I purposely didn't bring any money and brought the wife, to help resist temptation. Unfortunately I had been talking about all the cool genetics involved in the ball python hobby with her last night, and apparently my powers of persuasion are more powerful than I thought. Long story short we ended up coming home with a beautiful baby kingpin female. With the piebald male that is awaiting better weather for shipping I should be on my way to breeding in a few years. This should give me plenty of time to figure out all the details.
Now just persuade her to open the doors to racks upon racks.

Haha, I am not sure we will ever have racks upon racks but you never know. She really enjoys the snakes. She has gotten pretty good at dealing with baby snake dramatics, with our nippy black rat snake and musking Imperial pueblan.

Well you'll need to keep multiple babies back because you won't be able to choose just one female.... and then it starts.
