Perhaps I'm weird, but I like the natural smell of my snake and his tank. You know, when he hasn't pooped in it. It's calm smelling- for lack of a better description.

Ah, what exactly is that natural snake smell like? And how much worse is it when the snake poops?
Also, what's the garter musk smell like? I still have never smelled it myself.
