Absolem's first meal!
this is a pic through the side of his tub...he has decided he likes the RHP better than the perches...have a new perch setup ready to install (since he is actually bigger than we expected since we waited for 2 months for shipping)...but it was feeding night for a few others, so we decided to try him out...boy is he a good eater! nailed it within seconds...has a nice lump...

Re: Absolem's first meal!
gave him a week to come down from his "heat panel perch" and decided to remove him..(was afraid he would dehydrate)..."took one for the team" in the process, but he was still pretty darn docile during the process (dropped the panel and he came right off but nailed me once during movement)...he is now perched perfectly on a vine, and looking actually content...he is due to feed tonight or tomorrow (today is day 5) so will see what he looks like when tonight rolls around..

Re: Absolem's first meal!
one quick action shot (he is a private feeder, likes a towel over his enclosure) but meal 2 down! just love looking at him! he turns towards the back when he wants to sleep, and turns back around when he is awake...just need to time a stool sample just right to clear him of parasites, and all will be good!
