Can I put a towel between the heat pad and tank so it won't get as hot?
I can't really dish out the cash for a thermostat right now. I was wondering if I could put a towel over the pad under the tank to lesson the temperature. I have a thermometer with a probe, so I can experiment with different thicknesses of towels until I get the right temperature. Would this be okay to do? Would there be any problems?
