First Hoggie! :)
I have been pining after a hoggie for so long now... I was going to wait a few years for a friend to breed hers, but at the Sacramento Reptile Expo yesterday this little guy just called to me! <3
He's from May of this year, and is just an absolute doll The guy warned me when I asked to hold him, saying a woman was bitten earlier... I said that would be quite alright and wouldn't be a discouragement lol but "Griffin" took to me quite well
This is just a cell phone shot from the expo... I might try to get some real photos of him this week, or maybe next week depending on the weather.

Thank you! It used to be one of my favourite names, and I sort of forgot about it over time... Then I heard it again the other day and was reminded how much I adore it. The moment I held him, I knew that was meant to be his name!

Re: First Hoggie! :)
Nice! Not too many Hog Nosed snakes at the show, seemed like lots of Ball Pythons and Leopard Geckos. I wanted to pick up an adult female Hog Nose for my adult (or nearly adult) male but the larger females were pricey.

Re: First Hoggie! :)
Thanks Yeah, I only found two - maybe three - folk with hoggies there! Most were pricey for being higher % het something that I saw... Griffin is 66% het pink. I am not a morph breeder, so I'm not concerned with all that though lol

Re: First Hoggie! :)
I can't remember offhand, honestly. If you were at the expo, I got him from the booth inbetween the food court and the Labs booth... If that helps at all LOL

I wasn't aware GBU even sold normals? Every time I asked they never had any available as they mainly only have morphs.

They did have at least one normal adult female at the show.
