My speckled king hides. In the corner is the zilla basking platform and underneath it I have a smaller plastic hide where it gets the hottest, and then it can chill outside the small hide still underneath the basking platform to get a few degrees cooler but still in the high 80's. More simple. I just put a warm hide and a cool hide, with some cork bark over them to block out the daylight. UTH under the right one and a very low watt light bulb over it as well. It just helps warm the ambient air temperature.

Oh forgot to ask how large is that enclosure?

The first enclosure is just a plain old 10 gallon critter cage(I think Zilla makes it) with a sliding screen top.

The second enclosure is a 24 in x 18 in x 12 in tall Exo terra enclosure.

Just saying, but I'll be moving them into plastic enclosures soon. The glass enclosures are fine for now but I'm not sure I will be able to heat them up adequately during the Winter(it gets cold here and I can't leave the room heater on all day).
