I also think a snake for tv is not a great plan. A ball is probably the best lap snake but maybe you don't really want one anyway
What will you do when your parents freak out? I would hate to see another unwanted snake on the market

Another vote for a normal male ball python. Ours are very chilled out. Just don't do the lap thing when they have sausage butt...

Excuse me for my ignorance, but why should snake not be held around ones neck. My MBK roams everywhere, around my neck, up my arm, over my head and down the other arm?
