I didn't suggest that because 30 something inches wide for each by 30 high or whatever is the size of 2 x 29 gallon highs about. And a 29 gallon high is small in my opinion.

Dividing this enclosure in half would give the OP two enclosures measuring 34" x 30" x 36". Hardly the size of a 29 gallon.

While that would make two decent sized enclosure for something like a GTP or ETB, for a carpet I'd still recommend just keeping it as is without the divider.

Yea my bad, the length is what I was referring to, 30 , 34 close enough. Seems closer to 60 something gallons or more now.

I put those measurements in the calculator and here is what it said:
