i am feeding rat pinkies because that is what he was on when i got him. let me guess.... you say switch to mice pinkys because less fat right?

Whoever told you that was stupid. I'm pretty sure rats have a lower fat percentage than mice. Besides he will be on rats eventually so get him on them now.
