Thanks! She is a little cutie, she is very shy though! Wouldn't think she's a cobra at all lol, but she is getting a little more confident as she gets bigger.

Re: Some pictures of my venomous collection.
Wow! What a superb collection! Beautiful and exciting animals. I would love to own a viper, but I just don't know if I have the guts! Would really change the collection! No room for error. Well beyond the ornery python for sure.

Thanks.
Lol, of course. Not to sound like i am negating the snake is venomous, but if you were to get something like Bitis caudalis, you'd have to be an idiot to be bitten by something so small.
My friends adults are around 30cm. Small, stunning vipers.

Re: Some pictures of my venomous collection.
I wouldn't reccomend a gabby as a starter hot if you were considering dabbling into the hot side of herps. They have a crazy strike radius and have a few needs that do require regular swims which means more interaction. I love the bitis....ive seen a few parviocula floating around as of late...what stunners

Great looking animals and great pictures too. The hots always seem to have more character than other snakes. Just my opinion.

Generally i wouldn't disagree, but the Gaboons were my first snake..ever. It all depends on what experience you can get with whatever venomous snake you want to own before hand.
But for anyone living in America the best thing to start with over there is one of your native hots (Crotalus or Sistrurus because they're the best ) species seeing as if an accident were to happen you'll have antivenom available readily.
A friend of mine has 3 Crotalus willardi merdionalis, and his mate has 3 parviocula.

Thanks. Mmm, I'm not sure, but i think it's because of their head shape or having a hood that makes them look 'smarter' if you know what i mean.
