So just out of curiosity what does a normal lace monitor with proper paperwork go for? Are there any in Canada? I have been considering a monitor for a year at least but most just don't quite do it for me. Purchase price is also a big factor.

Nobody who cares about them is going to sell you one until you can prove you have the right equipment, attitude, and dedication also love and ability to care for them. That's going to take time enough time to do proper research.

Limited numbers means a limited market and a limited amount of people that breeders will sell to... If you don't know where they are or personally know (in good terms) with breeders that have them, chances are you'll never own one. No matter your proposed claims of financial ability to purchase one.
