It looks kind of like a pig to me, but pigs are tough and aggressive and I wouldnt think one would be easily taken down even by a larger snake like that. Even a cow for that instance. Hard to look at my greenie and imagine it will get that size someday.

Whatever it was, it doesn't look complete. A lot of offal and blood coming out the anterior portion of the victim, and I didn't see any front limbs. Perhaps the anaconda tried to eat carrion and it disagreed with her?

Might of been discouraged from all the attention. You could be right could of been killed prior and the snake came upon it.

Is that true about them only living for around 10 years? I had no idea they had such short life spans.

In the wild, a lot of animals don't live as long as they can in captivity. Darn having to contend with disease, parasites, predators, and famine.

theres a vid on you tube of one pukeing a baby hippo, thats a green anaconda, they also live up to be in 30's.
