I just got this BP but it's a pretty good deal and I'd like to help him out. I'd also need larger tubs to fit the boas. Thanks for sharing those pictures though.

Wow... I've stayed out of this situation but you're ridiculous. Animals are not objects that can be traded on a whim.

You're more interested in "the deal" than actually learning about your snakes. I'm sure the boas will be traded once again.

The kingsnake I never intended to keep, I only planned to get her eating and healthy which she now is.

If you're against trading animals then why do you even own them? They weren't naturally in our care. Have you ever owned a morph? They're traded and kept in tubs with a bowl and substrate for breeding purposes. That's nothing near natural so if you're going to advocate that animals are not objects and shouldn't be traded you shouldn't even own one.

You really arer going from the sublime to the ridiculous! Theree is a massive difference between a breeder buying and selling snakes to improve their business prospects and some one getting and trading snakes for no apparent reason.
Please explain how your situation relates to that of a breeder?
I bought all my snakes with the 100%intent to keep them until. They pass naturally, not as trading tokens when something "better" or "cooler" comes along.

I've traded my amazon tree boa to a local breeder who needed a halloween phase, I didn't come to him. I had too many problems with my boa and the shop said they'd take care of him and let me get another snake, I wasn't trying to trade him off because I wanted something else. And the kingsnake I never intended on keeping, only bringing back to good health.
Three snakes, and only of them I actually posted on a local site to trade. That one snake I posted is the kingsnake which I did not intend on keeping.

Yet you are looking to trade your royal, which you traded your boa in for, which either got an ri in your care or got it from the pet store where you purchased it, who by chance also gave you some stellar advice on treating mites that your king snake ( which you're trading for a pair of ksb) has/had. Hmmmm.
Yet you wonder why we think you're a joke.

I'm not looking to trade my royal.. and the king snake I never intended on keeping. I've decided not to trade the king snake which is mite free and give him to the breeder free of charge. Not sure how any of that makes me a "joke" but okay.
One question though, you seem to have been around snakes awhile and you said I should ask questions and listen. Well my question is about when I first got the boa. They had sold me a used 40g for cheap and I did wash it with water but I did not thoroughly disinfect it. At the time I didn't even think about doing so which wasn't smart. Could the boa have contracted RI from the enclosure not being disinfected?
I will sit back and listen instead of piping into every thread if you can answer my questions from now on without being rude. Sound like a deal?
