Black Moore

I think that's what this guy is called....anyone else keep these? If you like goldfish but want something different go for these guys!!! He is about the size of a tennis ball, and they have lots of personality. I had one before who HATED this porcelian frog I had in the tank, and no matter what he would move it to the back of the tank. No matter how I secured it. Sometimes it envolved him actually lifting it somehow to push it behind rocks. hahaha they are great!

anyways so yeah I highly recommend these guys!

I love these guys! I want a couple so bad! I was wondering if I could start out with 1 or 2 in a smaller tank, then move them to a bigger tank as they grow. DO you think it would work? About how fast do they grow?

Hmm well from my experience with them (I have had two and my roomate has this one in the photo) they can grow fairly fast. This guy like I mentioned is about tennis ball size, and about 2 years old.

If you want one a minimum in MHO would be a 20 gallon. Maybe a ten for one tiny baby but they do grow fairly fast, they are somewhat dirty and need a lot of space. For two I'd have a 40. They do have the abilitly to be much larger than tennis ball size...like four times that big. I saw one this big in a pet store for 100 bucks.
