Hypo or Sunglow?

I purchased this snake at an expo on saturday. the container said hypo 100% het albino but the guy i bought it off wrote sunglow on the card, i would like to have some other more experienced boa keepers opinions about whether she is hypo or sunglow, she looks hypo to me though. thanks.

Re: Hypo or Sunglow?

That is a very nice hypo.

Sunglow is an albino morph that comes from a pairing of Hypo het Albino x Albino. Sunglows look like albinos because that's what they are. Your snake doesn't look albino but it's definitely a hypo. Am I making any sense at all?

Your snake's parent that was Albino may have been a Sunglow Albino.

Re: Hypo or Sunglow?

DH means double het. So it carries both of the genes to make sunglow, but it isn't a sunglow. It's a hypo het for albino.

Ding ding ding. We have a winner!!
This will give you sunglows.
I copied this from somewhere but can't remember where.
It is listed from least likely to make sunglows to most likely.

hypo het albino x normal het albino
hypo het albino x albino
hypo het albino x hypo het albino
super hypo het albino x normal het albino
super hypo het albino x albino
super hypo het albino x super hypo het albino
sunglow x albino
super sunglow x albino
super sunglow x sunglow
sunglow x sunglow
super sunglow x super sunglow

I have a female sunglow paired to a normal(pastel) that is supposed to be het albino but we shall see.
