Hello!

Hello! I like mantii and other animals. I came from South Korea to North Carolina over a year ago. I am 14 years old. It is hard for me to keep animals now but I do want to keep many kinds of mantii and other animals in the future. I have videos of my stuff here (search wnlong1 on YouTub). I caught a brown snake that is around 25cm in length (I did not measure him). He is not eating. He is getting very thin (he has a lot of wrinkles). Will he live if I let him go outside now?

Re: Hello!

Yes he will survive.

They will only eat earthworms, garden slugs and small snails.

Re: Hello!

Thank you for the welcome. I kept him in a small container and put a worm and a slug but he would not eat. I tried to feed him a male Blatta lateralis but I guess it was too big.
I read the rules and I might have missed something, did I do something wrong? Is it alright to put a few pictures here?

Thank you, that makes me feel better. I let him go now. I forgot about him, I seemed to have barley any interest. I do not know what kind of Brown Snake he was.

Re: Hello!

Haha! I do not have pictures of the snake. Here are a few pictures of the mantii I used to have.
This is not a mantis. Rhyparobia sp. "Malaysia".

Two adult female Pnigomantis medioconstricta. They could not live.

Re: Hello!

Sorry that I did not write well. I was stressed and I did not remember many things. English is my native language. Korean is very different from English and Japanese is too but all of the other languages I looked at seem very similar.... weird.

Re: Hello!

A long time ago I loved Ball Pythons. I did not have any but I wanted to when I grew up. I looked at all kinds of morphs. I caught another Brown Snake a few days ago and got pictures. I hope this one eats but he has not yet.

Re: Hello!

Oh, and Shelfordella lateralis are not in the genus Blatta, they are in the genus Shelfordella! I found out a few days ago and this is if those places are right and I am pretty sure they are.
