Dear Beardie Experts
What morph is my baby here? My Daughter named her rainbow because of all the colors. We just love her!

Re: Dear Beardie Experts
I find this can end up being similar to boas in the sense you might never know. Babies also change significantly from baby to adult so it might look like something now and something completely different later. My baby was bright red and purple and now she's all orange looks nothing like what she was a a baby.

She's a sub-adult and has gotten better looking with age.

Re: Dear Beardie Experts
Still a baby to me hehe. Now that i'm not on my phone I can see her colors better, I was going to say looks like there is some citrus just based on the blue/purple stripes but she also has such an orangey look. Did you happen to get her from a pet store? She is mostly just a mix from mixed parents.
But alas I'm not as into the beardie scene as I was, to many kids killing dragons for me to stick around so I really don't know what is out there for morphs anymore.

No I bought her at an expo, I can't remember who had her though
She was the ugly duckling out of a very red litter. So ugly she was $10 cheaper than the rest so I just grabbed her because I thought she was gorgeous . I paid $30 and I'm thinking Hypo.

Re: Dear Beardie Experts
I really dont think she is hypo, to much darker pigment and her shoulder pads look black.

Re: Dear Beardie Experts
Then she isn't a hypo, the lighter pads is something i'm not totally sure is a solid marker but hypos have to have 20 clear nails, even one non clear ones means its not a hypo.

Re: Dear Beardie Experts
Not really basically the only morphs you can really be sure off without knowing the parents are hypo, translucent, leather back and silky.
Most breeders make up their own 'colors' and there alot of mix and matching its not near as clear cut as with balls.
The best you could do it look at breeders sites and see if she looks close to anything and then best you could do with that is say she 'might be _____" I would try to get ahold of the breeder your got her from, its the only sure way to tell.
Just like Boas, could have some of this, some of that and a little of something else but at the same time be none of those

Ahhh so I could just make up my own colors then? I'm thinking of getting a very very firey orange or red male to go with her.
