Agree, it's a normal Colombian red tail boa, or Boa constrictor imperator.

I don't like seeing the bci's labeled as a "Colombian Red Tail" because they are not.
BB has it correct. It's a common boa constrictor.

I agree with this, although the pet trade labels them as such, so I tend to include that name when speaking to beginners.

I agree. Instead if continuing the mess the pet stores have created we should give the beginners as much correct info as possible.

Well, ya know...if you want good information, the pet shop is the last place you should go.
