Not easy making the hard decisions for our snakes, but lets face it... they are very headstrong and not always right. Having to go through a breeders perspective and my own at all times, it gets very conflicting. But I always do what I think is right for the snake, and so far that's led me the right way. To make it easier on you Todd(and Trent for that matter) taking the eggs away from them allows them to recover from the egg laying that much sooner, as well as not have to put any extra effort or work into keeping the eggs properly. Think of it as giving them a break if anything... Just because it looks like they are sitting still, they are still doing everything they can to regulate humidity and temperature for the eggs. Incubating the eggs ourselves and giving them an extra couple months of recovery time instead of 2 months more work, is definitely for their benefit, not our own.

and those are some of the reasons I choose to to take them from her.
That was always the plan..just asking to see what others thoughts are on the topic.
