Roadtrip to IL State Capitol

I used to live in Illinois (north Chicago suburbs), but don't anymore. I've been to Springfield, though. I really enjoyed the surrounding area (New Salem), but Springfield itself was a bit run down. If I still lived there, I'd gladly take you. Enjoy your time there and take pictures.

I'm in the Northwest Suburbs! Yeah, Springfield sure doesn't look to be a capitol city!
