I've heard this too...however to be fair, supposedly most of the animals they take in are "rescued" and supposedly too sick to be healed, and are put down for that reason. I do doubt that is the case for that high of an amount though!
Most things in the media are all about the hype. However the worst video i've ever seen in my life, that haunts me, was one taken by an undercover peta person where "they" were skinning minks alive. Supposedly alive because it keeps the fur fresher or something? no clue. I do know it was a real video, and that it was the most horrible thing ever.

I honestly believe that most peta videos are staged to get a reaction and prove a point. It was probably all peta people in that video.
Oh and JFK was killed by the CIA!

There has been some arguments that they stage those videos in their own facilities (which is horrible)
not saying these things dont happen (they certainly do) but some of the "undercover" stories are insanely preposterous.

I truly believe they are staged. I don't believe the CIA killed Kennedy.
