Im a he and what do you mean by second opinion? There is a possibility I could miss something but that would mean th levels were so low it would not do any harm. Tracie also backs me up on this.

|I just mean when checking the fecal. Not sure if there is more then one thing to look for. Honestly I don't know what they look for so even if I tried I wouldn't know what I was looking at.
Does that make sense??? It does in my head but doesn't seem to flow right.
How is your beardie doing since?

Minimum size for supers is 16 inches. She was thinking 13 by accident so they were too big.

16 inches is really big, I don't think that is right. If so I want to get some of these nearly foot and a hlf worms. they would go much farther feeding

Re: Regurgitation Help!!!!
16 inchs for the dragon to safe be able to eat them is what Eli meant.
Dragons under 16 tend to have more complications when eating them then dragons over that size.

Daily spot cleaning, just remove the poop as quick as you can afterwards.
Glad she is doing better

Re: Regurgitation Help!!!!
I would really suggest getting a fecal, Thil's poo is never that bad to leave a whole room smelling and it was never gag worthy for me and I have trouble cleaning out the cats litter.
I once babysat a beardie who had had parasites while I had him and he really stunk up the room. Please take a sample to the vet just to confirm everything is 100% with her.

Re: Regurgitation Help!!!!
My males poo smelled really bad......my daughter and I walked in the door after being gone most of the day and the kid got it right when she said wow it smells worse than a petting zoo in here...lol! I wasn't able to get a fecal before their last vet check-up but my vet said to go ahead and worm them with panacur. Reptiles tolerate panacur very well and mine have displayed no side effects. We use it for our snakes and geckos as well. My husband worms all new snakes while they are in quarantine and we have never had a snake have a bad reaction to it. I will still be bringing a fecal in as soon as I am able to. A lot of people frown on worming without the fecal first but it has worked just fine for us and all my reptiles are healthy and my vet is fine with it.

Re: Regurgitation Help!!!!
ya I was actually going to worm her with panacur but decided that i would get a lot of hate if I did it without doing the fecal first and that was a bit of an exaggeration and it stinks up the room because i am gone all day so when i get home it has been in there for a long time

I am doing a fecal myself and I might send one to a good friend who has been keeping dragons for 35 years and has always done fecals herself and never had a problem and she used to work for a vet and did the vets fecals.
