Thanks, Norm. I chose the
brongs as hatchlings because I liked their respective patterns, I could tell they'd have great adult colouration (one of which I'm still waiting to see) and because they would look quite a bit different from one another as adults, colour-wise. They're reversing, which is exactly what I hoped would happen -
Blue started as a yellowish-orange hatchling and turned almost red, whereas
Bubbles started as a reddish hatchling and is turning yellow. I hoped
Bubbles would mature into a
true yellow adult (quite uncommon now) and he's not disappointing so far, but I've got another couple of years to wait before I see his adult colouration.
The previous owner of the
breit chose me, so I didn't have any say in her colours or pattern, but she's a classic Borneo, she has great colouration when you see her in person and she's Canadian-bred from well-known lineage, so I can't complain at all about her. She's a great snake
