Re: boa not eating

Ok... Right off the bat. Do not offer food more than 1 time a week and until she eats do not handle her. If you offer food to often you will stress her out and she will continue to refuse food. Snakes can go a while without eating....

Is she in a quiet room? What do you have her temps at? how is the tank set up? what was she being fed when you got her?

The tank set up is two hides (one on each side), a small water dish, and some plastic leaf thingies on the side that can cover her going from hide to hide. The warm end is 85-87 and the cool end is at 73-75.

Before I got her, she was feeding on 2 f/t pinkies or 1 f/t fuzzy mouse. She's a year old and been feeding on f/t her whole life according to the breeder.

Edit: yes, she's in a quiet room. There is minimal traffic here (I live alone in my apartment).
