Hey Wayne, how do you keep night crawlers and slugs through the winter? Or do you buy them?

I used a big old chest freezer, I filled it half way up with compost and soil.

The top sealed well enough to keep them in. Slugs would go right up the side.

By the way, the freezer was broken, so it was not plugged in.

NO eventually the freezer rotted apart, so it's gone now.

All I have now is one adult Dekayi girl, and she takes worms just fine, so there's no need for a slug farm anymore.
