Talking Snake at the park. What is it?

I'm new to snakes. Found this beautiful snake while I was walking in the park. What is it, guys? Thanks!

I'm from TN, by the way.

Its hard to tell by the really dark photo, but overall it has the physique of a Nerodia, common water snake. From what I can tell from the markings, again hard to ID because of poor image quality, they almost look like water snake markings.

Wish I was into snakes while I lived in TN. Saw a couple cottonmouths, admired for a minute and that was it. Saw a dead one that choked on a fish. Didn't even snap any pictures
