This is why i go to a owner operate pet store. I do get my Reptile Bark at Petsmart, because i save almost $10.00 on the big bags.

I guess you've had different luck than me. Most the fish departments at our petcos BLOW compared to some online sources and even the aquatic specialists often haven't a clue about anything. I guess it just really varies on the particular store, some might get lucky and have someone with a clue.
