Re: My New Incubator From Pro-Rack UK

very nice! im so going to steel this design and build one at work :P i hope you dont mind, if you do, ill build it anyways and lie about it LOL Very very nice tho, it surely is treating yourself but how could you go wrong spending money on an icubator, its the lifeblood of your breeding after all i seen a few people buy old pop coolers like you see in corner stores or pic them up at junk yard and convert them, just an idea for others who wish to build on or have one built as cost effective as possible

Hello to you both, your right Freebody, you can construct a great incubator from a drinks chiller(as i have done in the past) the advantage to this one is its lightweight, i am fairly handy and access to a fabrication shop would be an advantage,to construct one like this,. the truth is, its having the time and all the tools and materials to hand. These guys at pro-racks do this for a living and it cost no more than a hatchling blackheaded python so was a good investment, and the guys probably did a better job than me. I see no reason why you should not be successful if you take the project of building an incubator on. Good luck
Percy 39 it holds eight boxes which are marketed over here as Really Useful Boxes they are graded as 9litre and measure 395mm long x 155mm high x 255mm deep, of course larger boxes could also be used 1 per shelf, but this was the specification i wanted.
