Baby Spotteds are growing (PICS)

SP07-02 (notice how he looks dehydrated? I have no idea why this is, he's seemingly healthy otherwise, unless it's internal)

Random Shots:

They took a while to start feeding reliably, but now they're eating like champs on F/T pinkies!

My goal for next season, I'm buying a new rack. Mine died.

Three weeks? That's nothing. These guys were born at the end of July, it took them until october to start eating reliably. LOL

Re: Baby Spotteds are growing (PICS)

Thats pretty typical Jenn the lil buggers like to hold out forever. Some start right off the get go & others may not start for 2-3 months. Thats been my experience with Childrens over the years anyhow. Another example, most of my baby Diamonds this year started at 2-3 months & one male waited 4 months to the day prior eating. Its actually quite typical for many species of Aussie Pythons to take forever before they get hungry. Lil buggers! Mark
P.S. when are you moving out to BC?

I'm moving the last week of May. I'm going there for Christmas too though

I'm still wondering why #2 seems dehydrated like that. It only happens for 1-2 days after he's eaten, then he looks normal again. It's SO strange.

Hmm ever see him drink for sure? Maybe he isn't & is getting his fluids from his prey. He eats & right away his internal fluids are likely being used up in digesting the prey (thus the dehydrated look for a day or 2) & then once its broken done enough his fluids are replenished by those in the prey as its being digested. Hows that for a theroy? Maybe we should see what Stockwell says, Mark
