Doesn't have to be that big, I had a 6" oscar terrorized a heater into submission. Killed everything . He used to slam into it full force trying to catch goldfish retreating behind it. The odd part is that I actually too precautions against that but I guess he weakened it enough that it gave of its own free will at another date. shortly after. Probably cracks I did not notice.
