How do I compress a Pic file to post here?

I took some pics of my fish and I want to post them. The computer keeps telling me that the files are too big. How fo I make them fit?

download Irfanview . Open the image in Irfanview and select a different Jpg compression ratio. The more compression the smaller the file size, but the worse the quality. Play around with different compression ratios.

You can also do it in Windows Paint. Use the Image and Stretch/Skew options. Alter the percentage of the stretch and then 'Save as'. HTH
