largest rubbermaid

what is the largest rubbermaid any of you have seen? im just trying to get an idea if i can get a big enough rubbermaid for my brb when it's full grown, or will i have to make my own cage. anyway, today i saw one that measured 42.7L x 21.4D x 18H

That is about the biggest I've seen. You might also want to try IRIS plastic containers. Not sure where to get them, but you might try www.reptiletubs.com

Sapphire: yup, the VE175 is the biggest plastic holding container I have EVER seen.

ya, they sold those around christmas time here. We got 2 of them, huge, absolutely huge, I belive the longest part of them is about 52in. and the "footprint" is atleast 4ft. Definitly tall enough to put some climbing structers in there.

Those are the biggest ones they make, unless you take one of their tanks and build your top.

no, the one that i saw was different. i think it was a 50 gallon. and it had different dimensions

yeah that one is pretty big. i saw it today. its not that bad of a price either, but the shipping probably gets you. im going to email the guy and ask him how much it would cost to ship it to me.

uros have high heat don't they? I wouldn't put a uro in something plastic....

well considering they will have a substrat for the uro, the plastic would be fine. We kept our uros in a lare rubbermaid with heat soruce and newspaper for months without any plastic melting.

Just because it requires high heat doesn't mean it cannot be housed in a tub. It would have an open mesh lid anyways which wouldn't be burned by lights. If it can melt plastic it is too hot for ANY animal, no matter how high their requirements
