I'm considering breeding a new species of lizard into the pet trade here are the two options Broadheaded skinks
9-13 Inches
Clutch size 8-13
Kinda dull coloration
handleable
Six lined racerunners
7-9 Inches
Clutch size 1-8
More vibrant
Smaller so kinda hard to handle
So just let me know what you think would be more desirable
Thank you
I agree with veronica, I would more likely buy a broadhead because of their size and body shape. Personally Six lined race runners have nice coloration but seem more like your average lizard do to the size and I assume dartiness. They are both beautiful lizards/skinks tho.
I’ve seen a few broadheads here in Florida and seems like a species i would have really enjoyed as a kid, I stick to snakes now because they’re so much less demanding than insectivores. Nonetheless I think broadheads would be really cool to see in person shops.
