craigafrechette Member Join Date: Dec-2017 Posts: 911 Country:	Re: Is my snake overweight? At 200 grams small rats are way too big. You want the prey item to be 10-15% of the snakes body weight. You're over feeding and that's what's causing the fat to build up.
