Cute snake on a branch
This isn't my snake; I took the photo at an expo.
Still, I felt like showing it to everyone.

Re: Cute snake on a branch
I think the way they perch is so cool.

Re: Cute snake on a branch
This species is pretty much the most beautiful to me. One of the few that beats some of the hots IMO.

Yeah. It's funny how small they appear until they unwind.

Re: Cute snake on a branch
They really are amazing. I should search Youtube to find a video of one getting into position. My kingsnake needs a tutorial. No matter how hard he tries, he doesn't quite get it right and still needs a "training vine" to stay in place.

Re: Cute snake on a branch
That's a nice snake, kudzu. The way he perches appears quite similar.

Re: Cute snake on a branch
Here's a pic of a week-old Dominican mountain boa doing a great imitation of a GTP, lol. The stick was about the diameter of a sharpie pen.

Re: Cute snake on a branch
The baby boas were about the diameter of a pencil, and the stick was smaller around than my thumb. Camera was in macro mode for the pic.
