Final Cage

Cant believe it but Hypress my female hog island boa just turned 8 months old and she is growing strong. Now it is the time for me to start thinking about final cage options. If you guys have any suggestions for cages just tell me, thanks.

Re: Final Cage

I just got my BoaMaster 4'x2'x19" but I'm waiting on my RHP and proportional thermostat before I put it together. I went for the melamine viv vice the PVC-laminated foam enclosure--don't asked me why--and I'm liking it thus far due to the sturdiness of the .75" melamine...though it will take two people to move it once it's put together and sealed. I got the dropdown door, vice the sliding lexan doors that I'll probably go with the next time.

I spent some time talking with the owner, Mark, and discussed some ideas I had on different viv designs, and some modifications to his current designs and what would work, and what wouldn't. Mark's currently working on an interesting hide solution for his PVC vivs, so hopefully that will be available soon for his 4x2 and larger vivs.

Re: Final Cage

Thanks for the idea scuba I can't wait to see what Mark is going to come up with.
