Could she just be getting herself all worked up? I have ask this question in the pass, but i didnt provide as much details about it.

she is 5-6ft long and eating 1 medium rat every 10 days

hotside: 89-92

cool side 77-81

coolside sometimes drops to 75-76
one of my retics has done this since day 1. So I took the opportunity at a trade show to talk to some of the retic-specific breeders there. turns out, this is a common retic thing, as is sneezing (he sneezes too). It's a light whistle sound. sometimes it gets louder when he's out and about, but it can be loud when he's moving up his tree in his enclosure too. One thing they wanted to make sure was that there were no outward signs of any untoward conditions that would resemble an RI.

So this seems to be just a retic thing. Tigger is healthy and will be turning 1 years old this month, at almost 6 feet long. I don't know how much he weighs because we don't have a scale, but he looks pretty hefty. Eats well, temps and husbandry are good (except the paper towels all of our snakes are still one. Can't wait for that to end). I call it the retic whistle. My girl does it sometimes too, but she's a little leaner than he is.

But if anyone asks, I only have 1. The rest just showed up for the house party.
