My mantis :D

So I always have a mantis or two knocking around over the last few years, I think they're wicked little things! To me they're perfect for that "new pet" fix but have quite a quick turnover in lifespan so it's never too much to handle.... Stops me impulse buying snakes or anything stupid.

They're full of character and come in so many shapes, size and colour that I very rarely have to search far for something new. Plus they're very photogenic at times so perfect for me to practice my macro photography on..

I thought I'd share a few pics that I've accumulated of the mantis I've kept so far (only the devils flower mantis that I have no pics of), hopefully you enjoy them!

Beautiful creatures! I am so tempted to try keeping a number of Mantis, especially some of the more exotic varieties. Can you share where you get your stock from?

I'm in the UK mate so it's from local suppliers... not much use to yourself. They're great to keep tho, so I totally say go for it! Hahaha

Brilliant pics Jamie, I must get round to getting a couple of these. I think they're amazing looking but so alien looking at the same time
