2016 L.p pyromelana
Saw these advertised and did have to think twice but pulled the trigger anyway. Male and female Northern Arizona mountain kingsnakes. Thanks to Gerold Merker.

Thanks JB, got them quarantined now but I will get some closeup pics soon. They really are pretty cool and took a meal the day after I set them up.

And THAT makes them even more attractive!
About how long is quarantine needed/recomended for snakes?
In the sugar glider world, we usually do 30 days, but it's backed up with a fecal test.

Previously I would do 30 days. The standard with ball pythons is 90 days. Fecals pretty much only if the animal is symptomatic or you are suspicious of something. Overall 90 days is pretty much the standard with most snake species actually.

Thanks EL! Can't wait for these two to put on some size. Lol. Always had a passion for kings in general but pyros are my first love in Lampropeltis.

Thank you SW! I will. It's just that I have had hard luck with L.p.pyros historically. I will be careful with them.

Thanks mac! I truly will be careful with these two. They are so inquisitive but calm like most L.p.pyros.

Thanks Tsu! I am really excited about getting these two and getting into a breeding project with some hypo pyros and albino pyros down the line.
