Which one of your snakes packs the strongest punch?
For me it would have to be my Albino Ball python which is only 2 feet long. When it strikes the food it startles me more than my 7 ft BCI did.
He's just so fast and I can feel the force behind it.

My gopher even makes the substrate fly around in her enclosure. Her tail buzzes as she sneeks up on it. She means business. Can't wait until she is a couple feet longer. Gonna be like setting of a bomb un there.

Re: Which one of your snakes packs the strongest punch?
It has got to be my female boa that recently gave birth. She had never striked her food before until the day she gave birth, I fed her a large rat she took me by surprise big time as I was just going to feed her like I always have but as soon as she smelt the rat bam I swear I thought my burm was ferocious but that took the biscuit.

None of my snakes strike hard. They are fast, but not linebackers. And they always gently take it without striking if they arent super hungry. But all time, I'd say my cali king. He was a complete idiot when he was hungry

It used to be my BRB, but he now leisurely takes his rats from the tongs, so i would say it would be my Kenyan Sand Boas....they can and will literally launch themselves at the item while it's still in the tongs, yank it away and flip and coil around the item til they are upside down..

Re: Which one of your snakes packs the strongest punch?
These is a tough one for me. My big 15 lbs Jungle Carpet has actually broke the plex glass on two different cages striking at food so hard. On more than one occasion i didn't let go of the rat fast enough and she ripped it in half. But for pure force and power in their strikes my Bloods and Yellow Anaconda tie. But hands down the one with the strongest punch is my Borneo. He as hit food so hard he knocked his whole cage off the shelf a few times. I now hold on to the cage when feeding. An this is 4 foot cage. He beheaded more rat than i can remember. Plus i never had a snake leave such a big and deep bruise as the time he nail me in feed mood.

The MBK for attitude - she's only about a year old but she will practically climb out of the tank and rip the feeder off the tongs before I can lower it down to her.
The big boa gal for sheer power - at least she waits until we get the feeder down to her.

My Hogg for sure. HE has an insane feeding response; you'd think he's a retic.

Black blood for sure. She has strong feeding response, insanely fast strikes, and so much pure power. Luckily I was holding her tub the time she almost knocked it off the shelf but it felt like I'd been hit by a baseball bat. Can't wait to see how hard she hits as an adult.

Man Bloods sound intense. Lol this is the first time I've heard anything about snakes breaking cage doors and knocking enclosures around.
