No, being wild caught has nothing to do with carrying the recessive genes for albinism. But the fact that no one has produced one to date suggests that they don't exist in captivity, and since we cannot just "create" genes at random, the albino will most likely come from a wild-caught individual.

I saw an albino dude one day and it was very strange to see that everything was white on him!...
From what i remember albino people have more fragile health than non-albinos.
If that is true then, the same must be happening with herps.
We should not provide bright lights to their cages.

The decrease/absence/fragmentation of the melanin pathways may or may not have anything to do with health problems.

I own albino snakes that are as healthy as can be. Human health is not to be equated with herp health. Not one in the same.
