How do you name your animals?

Ours are predominately named in themes, book series, tv shows, etc. Others just randomly came and fit, so stuck to them. Usually try to do pair names for the male/female pairs we get but that doesn't always happen.

Glitch, Gauge, Gadget, and Gizmo - Gizmo was first, took forever to name, finally just popped into my head. It suggested all the others though.
