boa not eating

I've had this female 1yr old rosy boa for a week now and she has already shed. Her last meal was Friday Oct 7. She seems to be fine and settled in; the temps are right, etc etc. I've put the little fuzzy mouse in there for her (since she didn't seem keen about taking it from the tongs). She keeps sniffing it, sticking her tongue out on it, but not eating it. The suspense is killing me! Should I leave it there overnight if she doesn't eat it soon? Would love some suggestions.
