Well, she tried for a long while and took the offered pinks after she gave up. I know it's a controversial thing to feed in or out of an enclosure, so it's my personal choice for now. I'm not going to starve her till she takes larger prey. If she needs smaller prey for a while, that's ok. =)

Thanks! Yeah I was concerned about going fuzzies as well, I was feeding Amani two pinkies a feed every Sunday.

My corn snake isn't quite big enough for hoppers yet (at least I don't think so) and I've been feeding 3 pink mice each time to help control their population growth. Now I'm wondering if it's time to step up the prey size, because 2 days after eating 3 pinks the greedy bugger was lurking near the front and looking ready for more.

Sounds like your corn is ready to step it up TnB. If it can handle 3 pinks it should be able to take a fuzzy with no problem.

I agree, I was feeding my King two pinkies a feed and upped to fuzzies without an issue.

I'm just wondering whether the 3 pinks digest faster than a single larger item, or the corn is just a typical greedy/growing young snake? Last couple feedings he/she has been out and about looking ready for more instead of staying out of sight for a few more days (after spending 2 on the warm spot) between feedings.

They do. Thinner bones, less fur, faster and more complete digestion.
