Re: kidney problems?

Well you should still go see one.

Suck it up buttercup. Your animals health may be in jeopardy.

It's your responsibility to take it to the vet.. the animal can't do it on its own... either give him to someone who can or put your past aside and go in there and get it done...
I have to drive 5+ hours to get to my vet because my local vets don't deal with venomous or anything over 10 feet... you do what you need to but you get it done... If you can't... maybe you should take up a pet like

It's harsh... but hopefully its an eye opener.

xD It is harsh, but I have to agree here.
The exotic vet in my area is an absolute douche. I am not the only one that thinks that way either (you should read his reviews)- yet when I have a problem with my snake/s (as much as I hate to do it) I take them in.
Yes there are so issues that can be treated with home remedies if you do them properly, but the issue which you are describing defiantly sounds like vet territory.

Re: kidney problems?

Hopefully you can find another one that's better not too far away.

Re: kidney problems?

The only other exotic close to me is two hours away. Other than his personality, there is nothing wrong with the man. He is a very good exotic vet, he knows his stuff.. Probably the only reason he is still around.

Re: kidney problems?

Well hydrated? How is that determined?

Apparently your snake exhibits symptoms that all of our snakes (dozens upon dozens) don't do and it's just "well hydrated"?
